    Default Blood River trip

Havent seen much on here about Ky Lake lately. Planning on mid-oct trip to blood river area, but pretty ignorant about the lake, only been there twice back in the spring. Any advice on how, when, where would be greatly appreciated.

I've been fishing Kentucky a couple times a week since August but haven't been down to Blood River since last fall. From what I've seen fish are pretty scattered, mainly one here two there type of bite. My best day so far this late summer/early fall was 15, but a lot can change in a couple weeks. Water temp was in the upper 60's today where I was.

    Hey Burrisrog,
If you can make the shindig at Big Bear the last weekend in Oct. some of the guys there might help you out around the north area of the lake. There is a link on the shindig for accommodations @ Big Bear. Just a thought for you. I haven't been on the water much do to some family stuff or I would give you a report.Mouths of the major creeks have been good early fall as they make a run for the shad coming in the bays. My best depths usually have been 12 to 14 fow with some blacks going shallow early and late in the day.
