Exclamation GUYS/GALS .... Cell phone numbers -- FYI

I don't have a cell phone, so I'm not familiar with what can or cannot be done with cell phone numbers, by shady characters !!

Even so .... it's probably not a good idea to post your cell ph# on the site !! Remember - this is the WWWeb, and ANYONE with computer access can read these posts ... be they members, lurkers, hackers, or whatever !!

It's probably a better alternative to PM your cell ph# to any member you wish to allow contact with.

Crappiepappy. Yes / no kinda sorta. I used to worry about that but most new phones these days are as secure as a computer, although that may not really be that secure, and probably more secure than a landline. Most have virus protection, spam protection and a whole lot more tricks. heck my cell phone has much more on it than my home computer. And you can always block numbers, encrypt scripts and such. I know lots of people now do their online banking with their cell phone. don't know if it's safe but what is any more.
PS their really good for tracking down your fishing partner and marking their hot spots. With out them even knowing it.
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

I agree with you pappy! Even with all the technology that these cell phones have, they are not fool proof. It's best to just PM the number and let them call you.
