Exclamation Going to Green River Lake .... Saturday

... well, that's the current plan, anyway. My buddy, C J, and I are gonna give the Crappie fishing a try. We'll likely be dragging jigs around, and maybe stopping at some likely looking places to see if there's any bedding Bluegill or Redear willing to bite. Hands Clapping

Probably be launching out of Lone Valley, and fishing in that area. If you're in the area & see us, give us a hollar. We shouldn't be too hard to spot Doh : old, white guy with grey beard & ponytail sitting up front ... big, bald, brown feller holding down the backseat of a white with blue accent trim Procraft w/90Merc. Rofl

I'll be checking this thread, before we leave town .... so, if anyone has any recent tips/info they'd care to share ... post 'em up !! (oh, and I'll be checking my PM's too ... wink wink :p )

Can't share any info with crappie right now but the catfish bite is on in the Ohio river tribs. We are running limb lines nightly, last nights haul included 13 channels, 1 blue, 1 flathead and about a 4 to 5 lb. hybrid bass or striper. Baiting all lines with real small bluegill. Running around at midnight in the dark with my 76 year old uncle has been a lot of fun. Shining the light ahead and seeing those limbs bounce & never really knowing what you'll find is a hoot. I hadn't done it since I was a teenager ( I'm 48 now). Good luck Pappy, anxious to see your report.
