    Question Ohio River Crappie Bite

Has anyone been able to hit the tribs on the Ohio this spring for crappie? I haven't been able to due to the river and its tribs being so high. The river now is in good shape, has anyone been out, how did you do?

I have fished it around Carrollton. I had some luck during the spawn but not to much since the water has went down and gotten hotter.

I've been out, but haven't had a lot of luck. Mostly small dinks. Bluegill bite is pretty good now. Wasn't a very good Spring in the creeks for me. Seems like we went from the freezer to floods to hot weather with out much Spring. Crappie spawn had to suffer from that. Hopefully this Fall will be good.
