I cannot tell that the bluegill and redear have been terribly affected by the falling water. I am still catching them in good quality and quantity. You just have to keep moving out with the water. I caught a bunch this afternoon in just a short while, with the redear bite really picking up as sunset neared. This was on Ky Lake. A friend of mine fished this afternoon on Barkley with the same results. Good numbers of quality bluegill and redear. By the way, all my fish came on small jigs tipped with Berkley Power Wigglers. There's no way they could have bitten any faster if I'd of used worms....plus I'd had to have stopped and re-baited all the time. I love fishing for bluegill and redear with artificial bait. That's just about all I ever use.
