I would say it's doubtful. They are plugging the dam completely tommorrow so the water will shoot up really fast then. TVA is now predicting 373. We just cancelled our trip for this year today, going over to Mark Twain instead. Hopefully better luck next year

should have listened. Just returned from Ledbetter Creek. 2 crappie, 6 stripe and a real nice small mouth. I thought i had the world record black crappie with that small mouth. i saw the fish flash and i just saw that it was dark. thought i had a 3 or 4 lb black crappie.

when i put the boat in the water you could walk to the boat dock from land (where you park your boat). When i left 6 hours later the walkway was underwater. coming up quick and turning chocolate quick. think its done fella's. maybe this fall.

I went to LBL turkey hunting this morning and saw a bank angler pull in a big ol' bull bluegill from the bushes at the Kenlake campground on my way back home.

    Kenlake:

(notice there is no breakwall showing)

The lake may rise another 5 feet over where it was when these pics were taken a few hours ago.

I was there this evening. It was very busy as it is one of the few ramps still usable. There was about 2 feet of ramp above the water before it hits the parking lot. If they do what they say and slow the rise and stay between 370-372 it may stay usable. As far as fishing most of my spots right now where I catch gills and redear they are in 15 feet of water or more. To get into the shallows I would have to work between the trees and I have seen too many snakes this week hanging from branches to get through the trees. They may have all been non-poisonious but I don't want to get close enough to check! Thumbs Up

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
