What's current conditions at the lake? Thinking of heading down Friday if possible. Thanks.

The lake was high over the week-end. I would say they will be shadow, until they start pulling the lake back down, then will go back to the first dropped off.

Use this link to check on the lake level. Normally updated each morning by 8:00
Louisville District Daily Lake Report
Today she is 11 feet over summer pool and they started to let some water out, Not a lot but at least it won't rise anymore until it rains again.
Good thing about Green is you can usually find some decent colored water. May have some stain, but not muddy. Best bet is up around the dam.
Have been catching crappie at Green all spring but it has been tough. Weekend before last was the best yet, things were getting ready to get good and then came more rain.
Good luck

At least they've opened the gates to allow about half a foot out today. The dock is not usable at Lone Valley and you have to get soaked to launch. I fished from 7:30 till about 2 and found some decent looking water on the main lake. Fish were in submerged areas normally out of the water or close to it. The wind got real bad about 11:00 and got tired of fighting it. Lots of smaller fish, I don't know where the big spawners have gone with the crazy water levels. Also, there is a big debris field about 3 miles south of the dam and working it's way down.
On a side note, all the gas stations that sell bait close to the state park had very small minnows. I am going to start buying them the night before elsewhere and bringing them to the lake with me.
