Ron, poor Taylorsville Lake can't seem to catch a break. Seems no matter when condtions get right for a Crappie spawn, heavy rains come & mess it all up. I had "heard" that people were starting to actually catch some, right before all these storms started. Look at this chart, and you'll see what I mean : http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/wc/res...plots/tvl.html Last years flooding rains came right at the first of May ... which, in my experience, is the beginning of the main spawning push for T-ville Crappie. This years 18ft rise may be early in the process, but could still affect the situation ... not to mention that we probably haven't seen the last of these storms.

I was there this past Wed. and the bay at Settlers Trace looked like a sea of chocolate milk with a lot of pretzels(limbs and stuff) floating in it. The marina was closed so I walked down to look around and did see a couple of boats out on the main body. I could've went to Possum Ridge but there was just too much junk floating around for me, I like my boat without holes. LOL
