    Default Father an Son day at Green River


    Me an my son went down to Green today for a day of crappie fishing. Lake was murky an had some debris floating this morning, was a windy day also, lake temp was 61-62 degrees. We caught between 50-60 fish but only 18 was keepers. Most all of them was just 9 in, couple went 10 in. Also picked up 3 kitty cats too.....2 channels an one big ole mud !! LOL.....All in all it was a nice day an even though we didnt catch alot of keepers, I enjoyed the day with my son. Hands Clapping

    Congrats on the good day with your son! We went Thursday and Friday with similar results.

    How deep did you find the fish to be?

    We caught those in 14 FOW let line out to bottom, put it back in rod holder then reeled up about 3-4 handle turns

    Going to try awfully hard !! My mothers got me on a project of hers, screening in her back patio, she had it done with just screen a few yrs back but now she wants windows added, so its a total redo. We didnt work on it this past Sat. cause of rain. Not sure if I can get out of it two weekends in a row. Women !!....GEES.....cant never make up their mind... She dont understand the upmost importance of the spring crappie season !! LOL But guess since its mom, gotta give her a pass.
