    You can catch them now. I normally catch several swimming jigs for crappie in April
    Buddy was spider rigging for crappie on Rough last Sunday and caught 12 or 14 hybrids then

    Hybrids should really be heating up towards the end of April. They usually are busting shad good at night by then. Topwater hybrid action is hard to beat! Last year we caught them good on large swimbaits. April 22 last year I had two over 9lbs on a sebile magic swimmer.
