We got back yesterday so I thought I would post. We got down there Saturday morning. We had falling temps falling lake levels and tough fishing.
We did catch some nice slabs just not a lot of them. Tuesday the lake started going up but of course we also had the cold front.

We caught a few fish each day mostly dropshot minnows off deep points and ledges. It looks like we were a week early but we still had a good time it was just more challenging. I think the knowledge I have acquired here definintely helped us out. I only knew of one other fisherman out of Irwin Cobb that was catching any crappie most were not.
