    Default Most detailed KY lake map. HDS


    Hoping someone here can help. Taking my first trip to the lake early June and want to buy a new mapping chip for the trip. My current setup is two HDS8's with duel SS modules.

    Not sure about lake insight vs hot maps vs Lowrance HD. Or if there is a better on I'm missing?

    If you have the Insight already, it's pretty good. The Navionics Premium and Platinum also have pretty good maps of KY/Barkley.

    With the high water events and resultant intense current of the last two years, the accuracy of any map currently on the market is going to be somewhat suspect.
