Herrington lake crappie

I talked to a friend a couple of days ago who said he ran into a guy who caught 40 nice crappie fishing up in cane run creek off Herringtons' main body. He said the fish were all the way back in the creek where fresh water was coming in. Just wanted to let every one know about that, cause that is a very good report for Herrington lake.Hands Clapping

There's some good Crappie in that lake, as you well know. Hitting them right can be tough, though. Best I've ever done was 8 or 10 two pound fish, caught off a big Sycamore tree that was hanging off a cliff bank, up around the Kennedy Bridge area. (30 some years ago :D )
