Barkley Donaldson creek ramp?

I heard there was a new ramp across from the old one at Donaldson. Does anyone know if this is a public ramp and are there signs to get you there. Thanks.

Are you talking about Calhoun on the north side of the bay? If so, it is public and has a much better road going to it than most ramps. Still just a single ramp with no facilities at the ramp.

Yeah Calhoun is the old ramp. I was told there was a new one across the bay on the south side.

There is a public ramp on both sides of the bay. I've never been to the one on the south side from land.

Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, and Land Between the Lakes has maps and ramps on both lakes that is useful.

It looks like they were still working on it a month ago. Don't know what they are putting in but there moving a lot of ground. I was afraid they were going to put in a hotel. If it's a marina, Donaldson is going to get a lot more crowded than it already is.
