This is the only pic I could find of her at the fish fry. They did a story about her on WPSD lastnite at 10. 12 year old girl dies after rifle discharges | WPSD Local 6 - News, Sports, Weather - Paducah KY | Local

Prayers sent from Indiana. May the lord be with the family thru this tragic event.
Prayers for the famly and friends of little Katie. God Bless.
Adding to what wiskers said - Hug your kids and tell them you love them EVERY day!!!
Watching and reading the report brought tears to my eyes. Teaching 12 year olds and being the father of an 11 year old boy puts a special soft spot in my heart for kids. Nothing can prepare a person for the kind of grief and loss he must be feeling. If he participates, I hope he wins the tournament for his little girl.
This is definitely devastating, I am so sad to hear this and will definitely keep Craig and his family in our prayers.
I remember sitting there talking to her and Ed and the others at the Crappie Camp, she was a great girl from the small conversation we had, man, my heart is just broken, I'm speechless, God Bless Them!
Prayers sent. I can only imagine the pain felt by this family. Wish there was more we all could do.

I have a daughter about the same age and cannot imagine how hard this must be on this family. Craig, my family is praying for you and your family ,and we are so very sorry for your loss.
It's hard to find words to say when something like this happens. May God give strength to the family and friends of this precious child.
May the Lord bless this family.
