The family and I are looking at finding a lake to keep our boat at for the summer instead of trailoring every weekend.
We live in Louisville, but the slip rental price (twice the price) and weekend boat traffic (getting dangerous) at Taylorsville has us looking elsewhere.

Looking at next closest like Nolin or Rough, but I'm thinking probably Nolin. Been years since I've been to either lake.

Before putting any money down, I'd like to get some info on crappie at Nolin. Crappie are 90 percent of my fishing.

Any thoughts and advise would be greatly appreciated.
