I'm headed down to Green River Lake Thursday. Just need to know where I can buy some minnows. Local bait store here may be out. Thanks.

Thanks, I'm checking my local bait shop in the morning. A couple of warm days coming up. Just hope I can locate some brush in 25-30 fow. I have a huminbird
side imagining. If I take the first hour or two and use it, it can pay off.
I have been doing good with out minnows, casting or tight lining jigs.
Just have to go SLOW
I will be on Green tomorrow, in a blue and grey Skeeter
If you see me pull up and we will swap stories
I like Green River just wished I lived closer. I have to drive 100 miles to fish it. Rain moving in probably stay close to home and fish Ky river for sauger. I'll get back with you when I make my next trip to Green. Thanks.
The sauger have still not turned on for this time of year.
It's been really slow and everyone is wondering why.

I fish the Ky River because it's 10 minutes from my house. We mostly fish below lock 10 the Boonesboro pool. I went Thursday water temp 37, stained and up 1 ft. above where we like it. Fished about three hours no fish. There are no where near the numbers of sauger in the Ky river compared to the Ohio. If you want to sauger fish the Ohio river is where you want to be. We have caught some real nice crappie this fall on the Ky river 13 to 15 inch fish. If I learn how to post pics I will post some.
Here are two pics the first picture is me on the Ohio with a walleye and a sauger. The second is a freind and two nice crappie on Ky River.
