I may be using the wrong term, Just always called them "flats".
I am talking about those long, gently sloping gravel points.
All within 2 miles of the ramp, one up river and two between the ramp and Butler creek.
Does that make sense?

what kind of depth should I try? and minnows or artificial?

I like casting jigs, but that is just me. Some of the guys are using minnows and doing well and a lot of folks are trolling.
The fish now are holding around 15 ft deep, in water up 32 feet

I'll post pictures after I visit.

Caught 50 Keepers today .............20 ft of water trolling .............find the shad find the fish.............Caught almost all of them between Butler and Holmes bend.

Awesome job man..... I'll be fishing with David Jones "Green River Lake Crappie Trips" next Saturday. Cannot wait, we tore them up back in April. Super classy guy with great rates. My favorite lake in KY... Wish us luck!

If you go up toward the 551 bridge there is alot of brush and channel drops. There was several 2lbers caught this spring Green has produced some good fish this year.

What kind of baits do you troll? Ive always fished live bait. I have never trolled for crappie, only muskie.
