Think this might just work. Again, it's a little earlier than what I'd like. Early October, it's liable to still be 90 degree's, but what the heck. Would be a good time anyway.
Nate, if you think you can get away from work, I'd probably have a spot in the boat for you. Think my knot-head my be going to Florida with his mother for a few days.
If buffalo13 is cookin' ribs, I'll be there!
Count me in! Anything you need Terry, Let me know! I have a seat open too!
Hoping to make it down for this. Even though I'm in SE Kentucky, met up w/ Terry this spring and we're planning a return trip this fall. This sounds like the best time, so let me know if you need anything, we'll be happy to help any way we can.
Looking forward to it!
Brad, that would save me a lot of trouble. Plus my big boat isnt set up for ky lake yet(no sp rigs), my jon boat would work down there better and 3+ ft rollers in the jon boat doesnt sound fun. Well get details worked out if it sounds like a go. THX for the offer man, thats a long drive from here, Ill be able to get off work this much in advance.
btw Brad....got a new bow so ill have some bullwinkle pics by then hopefully to show ya, gonna try to get one early this year.....(knock on wood).......
Me and my buddies will be down on Oct. 9,10 and 11th. We would be willing to contribute anything needed. Thanks for your willingness to include us folk from Illinois. We love it down your way. Again, let us know and we will bring whatever is needed.
Talked to Big Bear management yesterday and if I understood correctly they are gonna offer the "off season" rates on cabins, cottages and campsites. There is a $5 a day visiter fee for anyone not staying here but coming in to visit. Be sure you tell them you are attending the CDC get together if you make reservations.
If this works out good, and I'm sure it will, I'd like to do it again next spring.
