crappie size at Green

Hi everyone, this is my first post. Just discovered the forum. This is a good thing you have going.
I fish mostly on Green and a little at Nolin and Barkley.
I like to cast jigs, this is about the only way I ever fish. Nothing wrong with other methods, just what I like to do.
Was catching plenty of good quality fish at Green back in the spring but now catching a lot of fish but mostly small ones. The fish are hanging at around 12 feet. The odd thing is the best fish keep coming from about 7 or 8 feet.
Anyone have any ideal what is going on and how to locate the big fish that were there in the spring ?

Hello Colayn,welcome to the board,yes we have a great board. You will meet some of the best people here. I have just fish Green one time and that was back in the Spring,when we had a get together. We caught some quality fish and I enjoy the lake very much,planning on making more trips there.
