We had a get-together at Green River Lake this year in April. Thats not far from lexington, SouthCentral KY. Was a good time and lots of fish caught and lots of fun.

Hobbz the get together at Green was the first and judging by the turn out and the good time everyone had it won't be the last. I'm not one of the organizers, but I do hope that we have at least 1 a year. Green River was good to us yielding enough fish to feed everyone there and some left over. It's centrally located and has a great place to cook out and eat under roof.
There are other get togethers for other states like in October there will be one at Paris Landing in Tenn. on KY lake. They've been having that one for a few years now. Check them out and go to one no matter where and you'll be welcome

Wink We could/would have had ...

... another "get together", except the monsoon season ruled it out :o

I've got no problem with having them at Green River Lake, Cave Run Lake, or even at Taylorsville Lake .... as all of them are < 2hrs away. And I don't have to be the coordinator/organizer ... any of you can do it. (just give a month's notice, minimum )

The biggest problem is deciding on whether to have a cook out following the fishing ... as some of the lakes don't have acccomodations for such an event. Well, that ... and "timing" :D of course (weather, season, water levels, etc).

We learned alot about what we need & don't need, at our Green River Get Together. That should help in any followup ventures.

    .... cp
