    Default Bedding Bluegills

Here are some fish we caught on the beds with crickets. These fish were very aggressive, to the point they were even hitting our corks.

I told the net man to stay away from all them cokes and candy bars!

Here is a baby owl my Brother and Niece found up by the road. I believe it may be a barn owl. The owl was taken down to the creek about a 100 yds from the road and released.

    Thumbs up

Good bunch of big bluegill Huck, when they get good and dark like that they are aggressive and mean. Need to stick with water and granola bars for the net man, hes got the crazy eyes. Thats pretty owl, good sized for a young one too, man those talons look like they could do serious damage already. Glad your brother spared him from being roadkill. Cool pics.

We caught these fish in a small 150 acre lake. I have been wanting to fish Ky Lake for some big redear, but the high water and strong winds have not been favorable when I have been off work. A friend of mine at work went this past week to Ky Lake and caught a bunch of bluegill, catfish, bass, and redear in 10-12 ft of water on plastic bluegill lures tipped with minnows.

    Wink Chief ..

I've "heard" that, if you have a Thermacell or two, the Mosquito's aren't as big a problem. Walmart.com: Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repellent Appliance, OD Green MRG: Hunting

They're a bit pricey, especially the refills, but seem to get more positive reviews, all the same.

I've not purchased one, nor used one, so I can't give a personal account. The "skeeters" don't seem to like me :p ... so I've never had a problem with them while fishing at night. But, maybe some of the other members can chime in about them.
