I have been using the ThermaCell on the boat and for the most part it works. The biggest problem is the wind. In the woods it works better but on the lake the wind blows a little more in one direction. Been trying to keep the ThermaCell upwind and that works. One of my biggest problems is I wear shorts and the biting flies have been wearing the back of my legs out. Hoping the ThermaCell can help out there. Deet gives me a headache as soon as I put it on so hoping to find something that works.

I havent had real bad trouble with the mosquitos yet, gonna find out tonight if theyre out in full force on Cave Run. I spray on a little backwoods OFF and they dont' bother me too bad at night(knock on wood.....). I have heard the thermacells are the kittys butt, lil'John has one if i remember right.
