Went down to KY Lake and fished for crappie on Saturday and Sunday when all the flooding occured. It was horrible. In two days of fishing we caught 10 fish and only 3 were crappie and 2 of them were small. On Monday we switched to the gills and hooked up with some friends. My buddy and I got 197 in two and a half days. The grand total for our six boats with all my buddies was around 1300. Very few redears were caught. I hear we are a week early. Caught one on my boat that went 1 pound even. Caught two additional that were around 3\4 pounds. Cleaned a lot of fish and have all I need for my family of six. Had to stop after four hours of fishing on Wed because they closed the lake. I am trying to get down in a couple more weeks.
