Wiskers And The Mighty Ohio

Thanks for all the well wishes. Pretty bad out here in places but I think the worst is behind us. On the Ohio anyway.

Bout witnessed 2 bad wrecks at Smithland this morning within 2 hrs of each other. They got out of it OK but it sure looked bad for along time. Bet both those guys need new Pilothouse chairs! :D

1 more week!

I seen a post a while ago for 2 slightly stained pilot chairs for sale :D .................HEE HEE!:D

Thanks buddy. It's bad but getting better. We're all sweating this next rain that's coming. We are 1 good 3" rain away from a catastrophic event in the Tn./Cum system!

We saw a good 1 late yesterday while locking up at Smithland.

The M/V Harley Hall went down broadside on the upper guide wall. Opened up a barge pretty bad. We were in the river chamber going north and he was trying to get in the land chamber south bound. He didn't make it. Lucky he didn't lose the tow and sink the boat. Gave me cold chills watching it unfold.

All the time. I will probably be getting off the boat up there somewhere around Thursday. I'm ready too.

I know people get on and off the boats here where I work. Spurlock Station, EKPC just down river from Maysville Ky.
