    Wink Kentucky Lake

Well, I made the 45 minute drive down to the lake a couple of times this past week. The first trip was an afternoon excursion with my fishing buddy and the second trip I went by myself one morning.

The fish were all caught on jigs in 6-12 ft of water. The afternoon bite seems to be a little better for me, but that may change with the water temps coming up. Best colors were pink, chartreuse and green.

Brent with a nice stringer of 18 fish.

Here's a nice looking fish and one ruff looking fisherman.

This is what I caught one morning. The fish were hitting pretty good until about 9: 30, then that cold rain started and the fish completely shut down.

The heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

Better Than We Did.. We Were Down There Tuesday And Fished Until Noon On Wednesday... Had 5 Keepers Each Day... We Tried Quite A Few Different Places, Depths, Etc... Talked To Others And It Was Dead In Jonathan And Sugar Bay, Even Hit The Main Lake Deep.. Oh Well Weve Been Blessed With Some Good Trips Down There And It Is Always Fun To Make It Down There... Catching The Fish Is A Bonus...
