Triangulate. Find a fixed point of reference that you can use as "gun sights" to align yourself when the water is back up. Pick something that is not easily moved like a house corner, huge tree, street sign etc.
Take a picture of the "stuff" and start a little notebook with pics of it and pics of your fixed points along with a description. Try to estimate how deep of water it will be in when the lake comes up and an aproximate distance from the bank. A bit of simple right triangle trig will get you pretty close provided your depth estimate is decent.
Next thing is start saving your pennies for a cheap gps. Then you can stand right in the middle of your structure and mark it. Try to find a gps fishfinder combo when someone is upgrading in the classifieds. If you have both a hand held and a boat gps you can mark stuff on dry ground now that will later be under water adn find it with your fish finder.
