Eddy Creek Yesterday Afternoon

Sucked.

Fished from 27 FOW near the mouth all the way back to 8' water three quarters back in. Five yellow bass in 9-12' water. Fished 4-1/2 hours.

Parking lot was full of trailers when I put in at noon, there were 2 left when I pulled out at 4:30, so maybe I wasn't the only one with no luck. Wind was tough.

I have a 997 and I was marking individual fish with no baitfish/ structure relation in the 20-25' range near the mouth. The water out there was a little over 50 degrees. Back in the bay, I recorded a 53 degree surface temperature and really had a lot more baitfish and fish in the 9-13' range on the sonar.

That part of it is great. Did you fish yesterday?

I fished thursday and had a tough time with the wind. 2 socks out and hard to slow down. Missed a bunch cuz of lite hits/wind but also looked over several times and saw my poles bent in half.....TOO LATE!!! Managed six and a coupla yellows for my dog!! Nothing big tho. Knocked 2 of with my net!

Went to the lake about noon. Caught 2 real quick then got pelted with rain and pea sized hail! Felt like get'n shot with buck shot at 50 mph.
