Finally got my Structure Scan up and going. The first place I wanted to look at was a driven crappie bed I put out @ 10 years ago. What was peculiar about it was that when I went over it, the depthfinder showed a drop of a little over a foot. I couldn't figure out what was going on because this bed is on a mud flat and there is no contour change but the bed always holds a good fish or two. Well, now I know why the depth change. It looks like the crappie have been bedding in it. Notice the holes? It just goes to show, these fish do use these beds to reproduce.
