    Good luck to ya! I have a cousin that fishes for crappie on DHL and catches some really nice crappie down there in spring and fall.

    no i go several times a year, a longtime friend of mine has built several cabins down in celina, tn he is also a smallmouth guide, very nice and very cheap if anyone ever wanted to go, check it out smallmouthspecialty.com we fished all night friday and only got 6 crappies. not sure what the problem was, lake was in great shape, oh well still had a good time spending time and talking with an old friend.

    Talking headed to ky in sept.

    can anyone give me an idea as to what the crappie fishing is like around the Louisville, Taylorsville area during labor day i'm coming down to visit with my Mom and would like to take my son fishing for crappie. I'm From the Campbellsville area but didn't fish at all until i moved to Indiana and my wife's father took me out about 3yrs ago and created a monster now i can't get enough of crappie fishing.

    Sometimes it aint about the fish but who you got to enjoy the trip with...but I see you already know that. Sounds like you still enjoyed yourself.
