    Default Blood River

Before I moved to Kansas City, I lived in the Bootheel of Missouri and used to have a place in Blood River Campground on wildcat creek. I sure used to catch alot of nice fish up in Crappie Holler in those stake beds, some of the best fishin I ever had. Whats it like these days, good, bad, etc.?

It's still good fishing up in wildcat in the spring, but you had better get there early if you want to fish a stakebed when they are spawning. If you do get lucky enough to set up on a bed someone will probably come fish it with you. I'm not kidding, it's happened to me. When I fish beds I usually hop from bed to bed (fishing behind people) and still catch fish.
