    Default AJ Jolly 7-18

Got out on the lake around 9:30am with my daughter and boyfriend. We caught 20 crappie with around 9 keepers. All caught on minnows, fishing with bobber around 2.5' deep fishing around laydowns in 6-10' of water. Water temps were 75 degrees! Can not believe this weather for middle of July. Fishing was S L O W.

Would you eat crappie out of a.j. because remember they used to have a sanitation plant below the dam.

    Default Below the dam?

Yes, I eat the fish in AJ Jolly. The sanitation plant was below the dam. I don't think it affects the water above the dam, where the lake is. What have you heard? Did you catch any fish the other day in the Licking?

No never had one hit on the licking, last year at this time I was doing real well not this year, the spring run was not as good neither, I had a post on fishin.com about it, I dont think I will be going back. There is alot of trash and the people have been going to the bathroom on the trails doing number two, bad part about it is the guy who owns the poperty lets people walk or fish on the river down there and this is how people tell him thanks. Its the pull off on 177 where flour creek enters the river. Now getting back to A.J I never heard any thing was just wondering about what you thought. Remember when they had the plant there and around eight oclock at night or so the stink you smelled driving past marathon or so called hawk now just always wondered about was it safe to take fish out of that lake.
