Default Redear and Bluegill Pics 7/1

Went bluegill fishing for a few hours Wed morning. Despite the high winds and HEAVY boat traffic, we wound up with 27 redear and 17 bluegill.

We were fishing on the bottom with a #3 split shot about a foot above the hook. Using redworms in 18 20 fow, cast toward the bank and use a slow "stop and go" back to the boat. Most of the redear followed the bait back to the boat. Fished points and channel edges. Dad was dragging two poles on the bottom off the back of the boat. They were hung up a lot, but they caught the biggest gills.

Thanks for the help posting pics cp.
