The new elevated seat sure do make fishing from the kayaks very enjoyable. Hope you find one that has your name on it.

Nucanoe is the yak I carry in my store. You won't be disappointed. Check out the new pursuit if your dealer has one. I don't have them yet but understand that they are fantastic.

yeah ive had several over the years , but i really just want something basic and comfortable. plus something i can just throw in the back of the truck etc..dont plan on using it alot just from time to time. i like the looks of the ultimate and cant find any local (ditch want sell me his ) so im just getting a classic 10.. ive had the frontier 12 and several classics already.. cant beat a classic 10 for ease of use and comfort...

Jhef ive been looking at the nucanoe , I see that you can get the classic a good bit cheaper. Could you tell me, is there much difference between the classic and the frontier ? As far as stability and tracking? Thanks

ive had the frontier 12 and both classics. stability both the same. the frothat rntier is set up more for a open deck as far as standing etc.. i really thought that was important until after i bought it lol ..standing up in a kayak is really over rated. its nice to stand and stretch from time to time. but if you got a good seat then fishing all day isnt a problem ...the reason i went with the classic is that its a no nonsense safe and stable platform, i dont need rod holders and all the other stuff. less is more in a kayak...the classic is alot of bang for the buck...then again there is alot of good choices out there,. the reason im a nucanoe guy is just the fact that riverside fly shop is a dealer of theirs and they have been great folks to do business with..

Thanks for the info I have a sit on top kayak now and have been thinking about upgrading to one with a raised seat. What looks good about the nacanoe is you can add a comfy seat and if my wife wanted to go just add another seat. I think the classic would be good enough for me don't plan on standing much.

Just sold my frontier 12 and picked up a new 2015 Hobie Outback. Best move ever, hands free fishing and the new seat they have for 2015 is great.
