Thread: Out West

Thursday afternoon on my way back to Wichita I stopped at Kingman Lake and did some shore jigging with a chartreuse trout magnet body on a 1/16 oz pink sickle jig. Caught a small ditch pickle, small cat, and 2 crappie and 4 gills. Caught fish 20 to 30 ft out and 12" under a float. Kayak guy said water temp was 67. He said last week the crappie males and females were closer to shore. Most around 11" and he caught one 16".
