I usually fish Fall River and Toronto but both lakes have been dumping like crazy so I went down and fished the Elk River yesterday morning for a couple hours. Ended up cleaning 10 keepers and 1 flathead. Also caught a dozen white bass when trolling from spot to spot. Submerged brush piles on 10'-14' drops 8' down. Did not catch a fish on the lay-downs. Caught everything on pink and chart tube jigs. Still biting when I had to leave.
