(b) No person may possess any live fish upon departure from any designated aquatic nuisance body of water, except during a department-permitted fishing tournament. During a department- permitted fishing tournament, any individual may possess live fish upon departure from designated aquatic nuisance waters along the most direct route to the weigh-in site if the individual possesses a department authorization certificate as a participant in the tournament. Designated aquatic nuisance waters shall be those specified in the department’s “Kansas designated aquatic nuisance waters tables,” dated July 13, 2015, which is hereby adopted by reference. So if the water you are fishing is designated you have to clean them there/

Filleting a couple fish should only take a couple minutes. Fish on ice and filleted later never taste as good IMO.

It may stun the crowd but you could always toss em back if you don't have enough to clean. They're not really hard to catch.

That's what I do now, just looking for ideas if I do decide to keep em. Looks like, if I want to keep em, clean them at the park is really the only legal option.
