Pomona 5/27
I went there Friday morning to fish the outlet and quarry. A Sheriff's Deputy told me they got 5-6 inches of rain the night before. The water backed up into the outlet from the river. The lake was rising and places like the swim beach were under water. I caught one white bass in the outlet and one in the quarry with minnows. Cats were nibbling on beef melt in both places but wouldn't take it. A buddy caught one crappie in the quarry by dropping into a pile, but he had to stand on a ledge that I wouldn't chance getting close to.
The pipe in the quarry was rocking and rolling, lots of water coming out, but it was a popular place.
"If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
