Hey guys, quick question. I was trying to fish Perry this weekend from the shore, and didn't do so well. I'm in the middle of a move and don't have my boat here yet, but was craving a bit of fishing time, so I thought I'd try it out from the shores. But all day (about 6am to 1pm), only got one small, non-keeper male, and he was in an area I found (finally) where I could get a little bit of depth to my cast. Alternated between chartreuse, white, and pink marabou jigs - some were Road Runners too. Even used a bobber for a bit with them to try to maintain a certain depth... So my question: does this lake normally do better when the water level is more "normal"? I'm looking for a lake to start hunting for honey holes, since I'll be living in the area now. :D

Thanks in advance
