Great morning at Hillsdale fishing for Crappie. Caught over 70 cleaned 20 and a bunch of bonus bass and walleye. All coming from 10 to 15 foot of water right on the bottom black and chartreuse was the best color.

So this is a new one for me. While fishing the other night I had a catfish hit my crappie jig. As I was bring him into the boat he came off and dropped straight down on my toe. His spine went through my shoe breaking off in my toe. Only a slight wound but could have been much worse. Who says fishing is dangerous!
