1-30-16 Don allowed me to go in his boat Saturday and we went after crappie... Got to a brush pile early and the fish were ready to eat. The first hour was very good and we put several fish in the boat. Slowed down so we went to another spot and it didn't work out very well. Moved down lake and NOTHING... Went back to the spot we started at and sat down on them and fished hard. Ended up with 30 total keepers and most were 12 and bigger. Biggest was 15.4. Fish were 10-18 FOW. Didn't catch many small ones. Color was the key. We fished every color we had and only one produced well. Crazy but true...
