Hey guys, this is a great organization that has helped a lot of veterans, and I personally know and work with MSG Babcock. He has donated a lot of time and money to keep this organization going. I will not be able to attend this event because duty calls and I will be busy that weekend. I have a friend that is retired from the military that is going just to support the event but has never fished Milford and is asking for some help on where to fish on Milford. If anyone is willing to share some info to help him get started it will be appreciated. Him and his son are just going for a good time and to help support a good cause. Thanks in advance for any help he can get. You can PM me and I will pass it on Thanks again

A huge thanks again to all the people that helped out and donated items to make this possible. I also appreciate all the Anglers that gave up a perfect day to be in the treestand to come out and fish.Husband and wife team, Shane / Anja Goetti took home the Bonehead Tackle, Big Fish Bucket, worth over $ 300.00,.. stuffed with all kinds of cool stuff from Josh Spain & Tommy Ezell of Bonehead Tackle, Jerry Mcready of Crappieholic, Sharon Talbott with Tightlines Bait, Tackle, and Trapping for Sponsoring Heroes on the Water, KS Chapter, Stan Watkins with Cranking Crappie Crankbaits, Marc Buxman River Anchors, Acorns Resort Kansas for the Cabins, and Brian Ondrieka with Kansas Angling Experience Guide Service for the Donated guide trip that's going up for silent auction. Nick Neff and Benton Boyd of Kansas Outdoorsman & JoCo Ducks Unlimited. Not to mention the deals to be had at the raffles,..it was an amazing day,..a little on the tough side with glass top conditions on Very clear water,...but still had some nice fish come in. The Hottest spot on Milford Saturday was in the Madison Creek Arm,...fish were hanging on the brush in the 12 to 17 ft range.
