Unfortunately the life of a military member is always moving and we are never sure when we are going some where. Last month I was fortunate enough to get a short notice extended trip to Virginia right through our wonderful Kansas Crappie spawn! Good news is there is on hell of a crappie fishing community on this webpage and plenty of guys who just love getting out on the water and meeting new people. I put a feeler out on Virginia's forum and within hours had a guy volunteer to put me on some fish. SLACKTIDE put me on the fish, first day 5 dozen minnows and 42 fish in the live well. The second day, 6 dozen minnows and 51 fish in the live well. We ended up with two fish over 15". Wish yall were here enjoying the catching because there wasn't a lot of fishing haha. how are the lakes doing back home? Any one been finding fish between the storms?
