For those who were wondering about crappie camp...below are a couple of links talking about last spring's camp at Milford. A lot of good lessons learned from Ozark88. Thanks again Shawn for doing that last year.

Thanks Brad!!! May 10th @ Clinton I think I can make!!
May 10th at Clinton is good for me!
If I wasnt around for mom and the wife on moms day... you would be calling me headlessDannonono
I just ordered a good size pork belly I am dry curing then pecan smoking and would certainly bring a couple of pounds of it and make some home made biscuits if someone would do the eggs for a Saturday morning breakfast sandwiches. I would also bring some fresh home roasted coffee beans........just sayin....
Gents, it's Brad. Seems to be a consenses on Clinton Lake. Interest in the 10th of May, with the mentioned Mothers Day conflicts. Haven't heard anyone call for a Friday night through Sunday morning camp like the 2 I've attended here in Kansas last 2 years. I can take a lead role in organizing, but (embarrasing for a professional scout) I can't make a reconnaissance of the campground areas. I need you fellas that are familiar with Clinton to work out which campground we should get to and, further, where in that chosen campground we should go. At El Dorado in 13, Shane told us the campground and the specific road and block of sites to go for. Same at Milford in 14. It worked out really good to be in walking distance of each other and that was some of the best parts.
I recommend a compromise. We schedule the camp to run Sat and Sunday (09-10 MAY) with the camp festivities, maybe a cookout on Sat night (09 MAY). Some guys tied up on Mothers Day might have time on Sat to fish or come by the campfire and vice versa. This plan is to lure back in guys like Imajigger2 so I can finally meet him! This plan presents minor problems such as 'who's in the biggest fish' deal, but maybe we can just work private arrangements, but we can definitely weigh both days for bragging rights. Again, I'll take the lead for anything that can be done remotely. We can have a nice cookout without too much trouble, I think, if we have a few guys who want it. I plan to come to fish Clinton for the first time on Friday night (08 MAY) camp, eat Dave's breakfast sandwhiches (KAG Specials) and fish all day Saturday, camp Saturday night and fish Sunday. We could have a little wrap up weigh in/ good bye afternoon of Sunday.
Lesson Learned last year at Milford from Shawn: "Have a backup plan in case the fish aren’t biting. Dave and I both had brought hamburgers and hotdogs in case the fish bite wasn’t so great. We had originally intended on having a fish fry but instead everyone got to taste some of Dave’s great cheeseburgers! Also thanks to Don Ragnar for frying up some french fries."
Bottom Line: I recommend 09-10 May, Saturday and Sunday. Fishing on Saturday, cookout/ etc. 6ish pm, then fishing sunday with a small close out/good bye/final weigh/in. I'll lead organization, but I need help with the campground particulars.
Never been to one of these.. Have always wanted to. This year well be there...let me know what i can bring or do.. .looking forward to getting to meet and see everyone. Important question how is clinton never fished it....thanks lonnie
Low res, first draft, still lacking campground info. If general concurrance, then I'll ask one of our phenom mods to start a sticky "Kansas Crappie Camp Spring 15" and we'll start organizing. Shouldn't be too hard. Brad

I would reccomend you guys camp on the corps side or Bloomington. It has nice showers and toilets, boat ramps dont get as clogged up an it is in th middle of the lake to shorten your boat ride to which ever arm of the lake you want to fish and if the wind is howling you can still put in and get smaller boats boats on the water safely . I know the lake pretty dang well and that is where I would set up camp. Jmo
If some of ya are going Friday the 8th I might be able to sneak out of work early and grab the ol tub an show ya some good spots to fish.
