12ft is a good depth, just slide up against the rocks really tight and creepy crawl along alongthe break at the same depth.

Fished perry this afternoon. Lots of small fish around 12 feet deep in 20 feet of water. When are they going to move in shallow for the "fall feeding"?

Fished Perry Sat and Sun. If you want to catch your limit of fish, go to the rocks. Most of our fish was 8-12 inches. Not the best for keepers but we caught lots of fish.
Okay thanks I'll move a little shallower next time. Are you guys vertical jigging or casting to the rocks?
Totally vertical for me.
straight up and down as good as you can.
I vertical jig too except for in the spring. I never do good this time of year. Do great in the spring, okay in the summer, not bad in the winter either. I always here people say this is one of the best times of the year to fish but not for me.
This is my favorite time of the year to fish, comfortable weather and generally easy to do some catching and skip that dang fishin stuff.
