OSFL 8-17 thru 8-24

Had the best time crappie fishing I've ever had! Bought a 10' pole and that seemed to make a huge difference, especially when fishing brushpiles. Went out to OSFL about 4 times this past week. On 8-17 caught around 80 fish from 9AM-3PM! Went home with quite a few keepers that day as well. During the week we still did decent, caught about a dozen/hour and filled up the freezer. Went yesterday and caught about 10 fish total, all 9" or smaller. Guess we caught them all

Really tho, thanks for everyone's advice on this forum. Hopefully can keep the momentum going now. Going to check out some other lakes for the next few weeks before trying OSFL again and see what happens. Still need to find me a good brush pile at Kanopolis and going to try Milford and Glen Elder again soon. Never crappie fished the Glen so looking forward to it!

Good Job this is one of my regular stops glad you were able to get on them can be really good in late fall into winter as well.
