    After reading DRFISHDUCK's awesome reports
    I thought I should get back in the game.
    Went to Melvern state park caught at least
    50 fish. 1 Keeper. Sad. Chart. jig cork 12 to
    18 in deep. Walked bank. Wednesday
    Better results Council Grove. Fished Marina
    Thursday for 1 1/2 hrs.
    Caught 30 could have kept limit. Mostly
    males a few females. Chart. jig 12in or less.
    All fish were released. The fish stopped biting
    when the front pushed thru.

    I have never fished Council Grove, pretty good crappie lake?

    Easy to fish. Wind out of the west
    eats it up. Marina boat ramp is
    the best place to put in. Ramp
    in river and mounkers are nice.
