Walleye are right behind crappie in my book!!
I love crappie don't get me wrong my favorite by all mean
Hit the dams on about any lake the has Walleye in it right now. Males should be there with females moving in and out as they ripen.
Fished Cheney for a little bit from a boat Sunday from about 430pm to 730pm with no catches. Didn't see anyone on the piers catch anything either. The new handicap fishing dock off the jetty is in now. It sits on about 11 feet of water. It has rails all the way around with an opening in the middle. Water trump was 50 degrees. Also fished a little at Wellington city lake and kaw Saturday. The wind was more than we wanted to deal with at Wellington so we left for kaw inlet. The Arkansas river east of newkirk was full of people and some small boats and air boats. I assume they were catching white bass. We went on to the other river/creek. The ramp was full of boat trailers. Fishing was slow but other people were catching crappie with minnows and jigs. We got skunked there also. Water temp at Wellington was 53 and the river was 60-61 degrees.
Thanks for the update super still slow on Kansas lakes huh?
seems like it.
