Sounds like a good time. Maybe since all the white bass got taken from the lake the crappie have been eating well with the abundance of shad :)

I worked at the La Cygne plant for nearly 30 years and we used to line up between the two smoke stacks and a big tree on the west side of the lake and hit the channel in between and there was the bridge , usually took us about 5 mins. to be right on it.......congrats on a fine day, we helped clean out all them stripers when I worked there.......they were eating up the crappie population several years ago......
