Hit the water around 1000, hunted for open ramp found a place where someone had just put in a broke the ice for us, they really did a good job. Thanks fellers.
Start on channel breaks brush caught a few, two in box. Moved down two hundred yard to another pile caught a few more one more in box. This pattern kinda continued. Find a pile with fish showing, Get on it catch a few then nada. Decide to relocate to channel break on south side but ran into ice problems found one pile with no ice picked up about 10 off of it before they quiet us. so not a great day but not to bad caugth enough to stink the pan. cleaned 15 no really big fish couple 11plus maybe.

Depth we fished was between 20 and 27 ft just right on the drop offs into 30 ft of water. Some fish just of the brush some deep inside. Most caught on wht/char 2inch tube. Just my go to jig so did not try any others. Should maybe improve my catch,

Great job, glad you got to go and found some fish. How thick was the ice that you saw today? Was hoping to get to ice fish some ponds or a watershed this weekend.
